Dear Kim,

It has been two months now since our wedding day and Ben and I can’t help but think back to every detail, and the greatest gift we will have from that day is your photos!

As a bride-to-be this past year, I had worked so hard to plan every detail of the wedding, but the one thing that mattered the most to me… was our wedding photos.  I didn’t want to have pictures that would be packed away or forgotten about, and I knew I wanted more than just a keepsake item.  I wanted true heirloom photos that I could share with my family and friends for generations to come.  I have always treasured my photographs, and I knew I would have to do my homework to find exactly what I was looking for in a photographer.  I knew that I would have to find someone who could get the many candid and behind-the-scenes shots, as well as the elegant photos that would capture our day in perfect detail.  I also wanted to find someone who was creative and had a photojournalistic style, so every moment would be documented with a fun and honest approach. 

We knew when we met you, that it was a perfect fit.  Your warm and friendly personality made us feel like we had known you forever.  Your creative approach to your albums and the artistic elements in every photo -- just amazed us!  You had all of the qualities that I had been looking for.

I wanted to see the emotion and the pure joy that we felt that day captured in our photos.   I wanted to feel the same laughter and love all over again, because I knew the events of the day would go so fast. 

Now, the day has come and gone, and we can look back on our photos and feel every bit of happiness that we shared.  We absolutely love each and every detail that you captured, from me taking the time to smell the flowers, to our guests dancing the night away, to our gazing into each other’s eyes… all without us even knowing you were there!  Every friend or family member who has seen our photos has mentioned that they are the best wedding photos they have ever seen, and our single friends have already book-marked your website!  People are just “in awe” of the slideshow you put together, and they can’t get over the fact that we get to keep all of the photos on CD as well.

 We would be more than happy to speak with anyone who may be considering you as their photographer, just send them our way!

 We intend to keep in touch with you in the future, because one day we’ll need you to take our family photos!  Thank you for everything you did to help make our wedding day perfect, and for taking the incredible pictures… that we will treasure always!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I cannot believe how gorgeous all of those pictures are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am in absolute shock at how great BOTH of the slideshows are!!!!  so I never did get on yesterday at work but I realized that it was because someone up there was looking out for me and didn't want me BAWLING at work!!!!  so I finally got to see them last night and I was just in amazement...I was crying so hard...and I just loved ALL of the pictures...I could never thank you enough being there!!! 

I really have to go back through and watch it 700 more times to decide which one I love the most...but I can't believe how gorgeous the ones from city hall were!!!!  just amazing...I know that you have been told before but you are an incredible photographer and I honestly think that the only reason that I appear to be such a "ham" is that I was so comfortable knowing that you were our photographer...honestly though I don't even remember looking into the camera but clearly there are a ton of shots where I am making faces :-)  ok I have to go and watch it again and of course send the link to the masses that must watch the slideshows immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  thanks you so much Kim...

You were great.  You meshed into our guests so well, plus when I was getting ready, you were very calming and gave me some great tips!  We loved every picture you took.  They were classic yet unique.  We had such a hard time choosing when displaying them around the house.  You were so great the day of the wedding and took perfect pictures of the whole day.  We would recommend you a million times over.  We will be calling you to do a family portrait too!

     I would like to take this time to thank you, for the incredible, and I do mean incredible, job that you did as the photographer for Dave's and my wedding.  We coudl not have asked for anything more.  The huge album was amazing, plus all the proofs on-line and the cd's of over 800 pictures.  It was a fantastic package.  Most of the people I have spoken to cannot believe that we are able to keep the entire album, rather than picking and choosing certain shots.  But I knew from the start that we had picked a great photographer.

     And where do I start about the colors?  Being able to have every shot in black and white, sepia, color, or a combination of color with the black and white, was a huge bonus.  Friends and family have raved about the pictures where the flowers are the only color to the photograph.  It was a different touch and very classy.

     But by far the best part of hiring you as our photographer was how you handled the reception.  Once we completed the formal pictures after the ceremony, you were completely behind the scenes.  I never felt like a camera was being thrust in my face during the reception and no one could believe how many pictures you took without being intrusive or noticed.  You make it so that we were all able to enjoy our food and dancing, while also taking some of the most personal and beautiful candid shots.  Thank you.

     Dave and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone getting married, and our guests who have seen the photos feel the same way.  Thank you for making our day so memorable and capturing it perfectly through the camera.  We are ever so grateful.

Just wanted to let you know that I received the photo album and CDs in the mail today.  The pictures are absolutely beautiful, and fun!  There are at least a dozen (if not more) that are instant favorites and I can already tell I'm going to have a hard time deciding which to enlarge and frame.  My whole house will be decorated w/ wedding pix!  Thank you so much for your hard work and very talented eye!

Thank you so much for everything!  If in the future I need a photographer you will be our 1st call!  My advice for new couples is to have pre-ceremony pictures!  Especially if you are getting marred at the same venue as your reception.  Totally makes a HUGE difference for a stress free day.  Also, guests and wedding party get to enjoy cocktail hour, it just was the best idea, we did it on our day and we really liked it.
